Black Sherif wins Artiste of the Year at 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

what has been an interesting and fiercely contested category, Black Sherif emerged as the winner of the Artiste of the Year award at the just-concluded 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).



Black Sherif, who rose to reputation in 2020 with his hit music “Money”, beat off stiff opposition from enterprise giants Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, Piesie Esther, and Joe Mettle to win the coveted award.



The younger artist, whose actual identify is Mohammed Ismail Sherif, has been making waves in the Ghanaian track industry due to the fact that his debut in 2020. His special fashion of storytelling and transport has earned him a massive following, and his win at the VGMA is a testament to his talent and tough work.
