‘Stop chasing clout with Mr. Ibu’s name,’ Kanayo warns Reno Omokri, VeryDarkMan

Legendary Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has warned activist Reno Omokri and divisive pundit VeryDarkMan against exploiting the name of his colleague Mr. Ibu to seek notoriety.

Remember that on Wednesday, seasoned Nigerian comedic actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, announced to his followers via a video that he had been diagnosed with a disease that might result in the loss of his leg.

The actor claims that his doctor has informed him that his leg will be amputated if the recommended drugs are ineffective.

Mr. Ibu asked for assistance and prayed to get out of his situation.

Reno Omokri called out Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to support the renowned actor after the video went viral.

The video, according to VeryDarkMan, is a disgrace to the Nollywood industry for not having established a mechanism to ensure the well-being of its legends.

In response, Kanayo sent a video to his verified Instagram account cautioning individuals from using Mr. Ibu's condition as a means of gaining influence on social media.
