Mr Ibu’s health deteriorates; undergoes another surgery

Veteran actor John Okafor, well known by his stage as Mr. Ibu, is undergoing yet another surgery, and his health is getting worse.

The crucial choice to amputate one of his legs in order to save his life was made around a month ago.

Unfortunately, his health problems weren't fully resolved by the first treatment, which resulted in the amputation of the same limb twice.

This was revealed by his family in a press release to dispel rumors about Mr. Ibu's condition.

According to the statement, Mr. Ibu's health issues are not related to diabetes but rather to a recurrent blood clot in his leg.

Doctors stated that Mr. Ibu is "not fit to fly," despite the family's hopes that he could be flown overseas for additional treatment.

The comedian is presently undergoing treatment from a group of highly qualified medical specialists as he is admitted to a renowned hospital in Nigeria.

In addition to asking for prayers, the family has asked people to hold off on disseminating rumors regarding Mr. Ibu's condition.

They also conveyed their sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their steadfast assistance throughout this trying time.
