President University Rolls Out Scholarships for 2024, Celebrates Student Excellence

A range of scholarships for 2024 enrollment has been announced by President University, marking a noteworthy step toward promoting educational prospects. 

These scholarships, which fall under the Jalur Rapor and Jalur Prestasi categories, are designed to honor prospective students for their achievement in both academics and extracurricular activities. 

Those who have shown exceptional academic achievement are eligible for the Jalur Rapor scholarship, which focuses on grades in English, mathematics, and Bahasa Indonesia. 

Students must have received at least 80 in each of these topics during their 10th and 11th grade years in order to be eligible. 

Although precise numbers have not been disclosed, the scholarship amounts will be distributed in accordance with various ranking tiers.

Recipients of the Jalur Prestasi scholarship are students who excel in extracurricular activities like athletics, the arts, and social culture. 

Students are free from further examination provided they meet the university's requirements for standardized admission scores. 

The purpose of this scholarship is to help those with extraordinary skill who are not in the regular academic setting afford the cost of tuition. 

Although the details of the financial assistance offered under each scholarship tier are still unknown, it is obvious that the goal is to encourage pursuit of higher education by recognizing a range of accomplishments.

In related news, Shelby Stepler and Kelsie Avery, two local seniors in high school, have been awarded the coveted 2024 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for Howard County. 

This highly sought-after fellowship covers all necessary costs, including tuition, and offers a $900 annual stipend for books and equipment over a four-year period. 

Along with their scholastic success, Avery and Stepler have succeeded in a variety of extracurricular activities. 

The Community Foundation oversees the award, which is a component of the larger Lilly Endowment Community award Program that continues to assist deserving students in the area with their academic pursuits.
