Afua Asantewaa submits sing-a-thon evidence to Guinness Book of Records
The Ghanaian woman who tried to break into the Guinness Book of Records for the longest solo singing effort, Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, has sent documentation of her attempt to the international organization.
The video footage was submitted by Mrs. Asantewaa Aduonum's team last Saturday for verification and assessment.
She expressed her expectation for a positive reception in the upcoming days to Graphic Online.
Mrs. Asantewaa Aduonum surpassed Indian Sunil Waghmare's 2012 record of 105 hours by singing for 126 hours and 52 minutes.
The endeavor began on December 23, 2023, and she had initially promoted a 117-hour effort.
However, the exercise continued into the early hours of the following day, and she eventually called off the attempt.
