Gospel artist Eric Oduro, who gained notoriety for competing in the Mentor competition, has disclosed how he exposed a senior pastor engaging in an extramarital affair with a colleague's spouse.
Explaining the incident with Emelia Brobbey on Adom TV's Okukuseku, Erico said that it took place at a Nungua church where he was supposed to be a priest.
He claimed that his job was to oversee a spirit-filled ministry in order to usher in the senior pastor to deliver a sermon to the congregation.
He claimed that after doing his work and leaving the property, he decided to take a different route and return to the church because he had left his glasses in the pastor's office.
He claimed that the scene that appeared before him as he stormed into the senior pastor's office was so horrific that it still gives him periodic flashbacks.
Erico related witnessing the pastor having his pants down and slamming the junior pastor's wife—who also happens to be the church secretary—against his desk.
He claimed the pastor begged him not to make a disturbance because church was still in session as he grabbed his eyeglasses and tried to leave quietly.
Erico says the pastor offered him a large bribe in exchange for his silence, which he took.
Despite the unsettling nature of the occurrence, the gospel singer admitted that the bribe prevented him from publicly identifying and shaming the acclaimed "man of God."
He exhorted Christians to rely less on religious authorities and more on serving God through self-service.
