I want to be talked about in the next 500 years – Nana Kwame Bediako

Nana Kwame Bediako, a businessman from Ghana who is running for president, says he has lofty goals and envisions himself leaving a legacy that will carry on for the next 500 years.

The head of the New Force Movement predicts that he will rank among Africa's largest businessmen.

Mr. Bediako stated that he has always placed more of an emphasis on developing things and providing possibilities than on generating money.

In an interview with JoyFM on Wednesday, April 10, he stated, "I see myself there." In the next 500 years, I want to be remembered as one of the notable individuals.

That is how confident I am in who I am, what I can do, and what I am capable of doing—I know that some people find this hard to hear.

Mr. Bediako went on to say that before being traded on the international market, a nation's resources need to be prepared and processed.

According to him, this is crucial for drawing in foreign capital and bringing money into the nation.

"The economy revolves and changes because other people can start to bring their money into your country constantly."

He made the observation that only Africa has not yet fully accepted industrialization.

He claims that rather than creating their own goods and services, African nations frequently depend on imports.

"After it's finished, our clothes come from somewhere." Although we may produce cotton, we do not produce clothing or other textiles.

He bemoaned, "We might grow the cocoa, but we won't be making the chocolates.
